Rooted in Hope focuses on easy to propagate, air-purifying plants because they support healing environments and emotional well-being.

Clean air, greenery, and the act of caring for plants can reduce stress, improve mood, and create a sense of calm during the uncertainty of cancer treatment.

For survivors, growing and caring for these plants also provides purpose, flexibility, and a gentle way to reconnect with life—turning each plant into a symbol of resilience, renewal, and hope.

My goal is to equip others with the tools, plant propagations, and simple systems they need to get started—keeping everything accessible, affordable, and not overwhelming. This isn’t about adding pressure; it’s about offering an opportunity that people can engage with at their own pace, depending on where they are in their treatment and what they feel capable of. I want each person to take the lead in shaping what this looks like for them, whether that’s something small and steady or something they grow over time. Alongside that, I’m building a supportive model that walks with them every step of the way—so they never feel like they’re doing it alone, and always feel confident that this is something they truly can do.

In addition to our propagated plants, some are thoughtfully donated by our community.
